Attorney

The terms Attorney is often used interchangably with the term Lawyer but its more correct definition is any person legally empowered to act as agent for, or in behalf of, another.

A Solicitor is a member of the legal profession who is not a barrister: solicitors are not members of the bar and may not plead cases in superior courts.

A Barrister is a qualified member of the legal profession who presents and pleads cases in court.
